1. About Cordlytic

Cordlytic provides analytics and operational tools for Discord communities. References to “Cordlytic”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean the operator of Cordlytic. You can contact us at admin@cordlytic.com.

Cordlytic is an independent service and is not endorsed by, sponsored by or affiliated with Discord Inc. “Discord” is a trademark of its respective owner.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be legally capable of entering these Terms and meet Discord’s minimum-age requirements in your country.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for promptly telling us about suspected unauthorised access.
• You may not create accounts through deception, impersonation or automated abuse.

3. Discord connection and server authority

You may only connect or manage a Discord server where you are authorised to install Cordlytic and process the relevant server data. You are responsible for informing your community about Cordlytic where required by law, Discord rules or your own server policies.

Discord access is granted through Discord OAuth and bot permissions. You can revoke that access by disconnecting Discord, removing the bot or changing its permissions.

4. Permitted use

You must not use Cordlytic to:

• break any applicable law, Discord policy or third-party right;
• harass, discriminate against, profile or target individuals unlawfully;
• attempt to obtain message content, credentials or data Cordlytic is not designed to collect;
• probe, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload or bypass security or plan limits;
• resell, sublicense or commercially exploit Cordlytic except under a written agreement;
• upload malware or use the service for spam, fraud or abusive automation.

5. Analytics and accuracy

Cordlytic provides estimates, aggregates, trends and health indicators based on available Discord events and snapshots. Results may be incomplete when permissions are missing, Discord is unavailable, the bot is removed, events are delayed or a server has limited activity.

Analytics are informational and must not be treated as legal, employment, financial or professional advice, or as the sole basis for consequential decisions about an individual.

6. Plans, payments and renewals

• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe at the price shown at Checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through the billing portal, unless the Checkout states otherwise.
• Taxes, currency conversion and payment-method availability may be handled by Stripe.
• Plan limits apply to connected servers, team seats, history, alerts, reports and other entitlements.
• Except where required by law, fees already charged are non-refundable. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

7. Service changes and availability

We may improve, replace, limit or discontinue features. We aim to keep Cordlytic available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security incidents, Discord outages, hosting failures and events outside our reasonable control may interrupt the service.

8. Intellectual property

Cordlytic and its software, branding, interface and original content are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of material you lawfully provide to us.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Cordlytic at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, legal compliance, Discord-policy compliance, material breach or protection of users and the service. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Cordlytic is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.

We do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, anticipated savings or data. Our aggregate liability arising from Cordlytic will not exceed the fees you paid us during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or £100 if you used only a free plan.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal or security changes. The updated date will appear above. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email. Continuing to use Cordlytic after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except that consumers may retain mandatory rights to bring proceedings in their country of residence.
